On October 15, 2016, physical therapists around the world will spend the day performing service projects and volunteerism in their communities. The PT Day of Service (@PTDayOfService) exemplifies one of our favorite things about physical therapy -- it's holistic, it's community-oriented, it's filled with well-meaning and kind people, and it's a giving profession.
So... if you're a PT and participate in the #PTDOS this fall, we'll provide you with a free practice privacy consultation.
Maintaining your patients' privacy is one of the best ways you can serve them! It strengthens your relationship and improves their trust in your care. HIPAA and related laws have changed rapidly in recent years, and with the Department of Health & Human Services now performing HIPAA audits, it's time to get your privacy policies organized. We'll review your existing policies and tell you where to begin.
Through our work with PTs on a daily basis, we often discuss our particular passion for the profession. We tell them about how physical therapy has benefited us both, and how physical therapists have changed our lives.
We hope you'll participate in the PT Day of Service, and we hope that we'll have the chance to serve you this fall!
*Reminder: We aren't your attorneys unless we both agree to that relationship in writing. The services being offered for PTDOS participants are our healthcare consultation services, not our legal services.*
